Grasping the Value of Web 2.0

I have just read book five of Victor Hugo’s “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame” (Notre-Dame de Paris), and found that it is such an elegant description on how Gutenberg’s printing machine has revolutionized the world, changing the way people can express themselves: from architecture to book.

I was wondering if the same thing is currently happening in our time, where the Internet and Web 2.0 with its blogs, wikis, social networking, social bookmarking, etc., have once again change the way we may express ourselves. Once again the control is handed over to the large mass of population. If it is, this should be a very exciting time, another tremendous spot in the line of history, and it is such a pleasure living in this era…
